External lecture: Cold climate navigation 23. & 24. April 1000-1315

Rare chance to partake in two lectures by O.T. Gudmestad with the general topic of col climate navigation.

Contents will be:

- Effect of iceing on deck

- Ice navigation

- SAR in Arctic regions

- Polar Code

- Sustainable use of Arctic Seas

Mr Gudmestad brings years of experience in the offshore industry and will share valuable insights on the increasingly relevant topic of navigation in Arctic Seas.

Lectures will take place during ship theory and offshore navigation time slots. Room is still to be announced.

Everybody is invited to join and kickstart their understanding of this fascinating area of operations!
