Have you ever felt taken aback by the German straight forwardness or wondered what the German stare is about? Or why Germans choose to go for a walk in the rain? Or did you find yourself in front of a closed store on a Sunday?
The list of German quirks goes on and on - some are charming in a way, but others might be inconvenient or even troublesome. If you are relatively new in Germany, but had your fair share of experiences with the German culture already, this workshop might be for you.
The workshop promotes intercultural exchange and professional integration. It is based on a systemic, experience-oriented approach that focuses on students. It is divided into different phases that enable students to gradually and methodically explore their own culture and experiences in Germany. The goal for the day is to reflect on one's own cultural background, explore the challenges and opportunities of the life in Germany, and engage in a trusting, intercultural exchange about everyday life, traditions, family, religion and gender roles.
This workshop counts for your GEB-Certificate!
